Gist: A PU formulation with a mixture of ammonium polyphosphate and nano metal oxide particles (Mg or Al)

Why it is innovative:  While synergistic effects of fire retardant combinations are known and claimed in many patents, the use of very small metal oxide particles together with APP seems to have a real and significant effect.
